Following the Spirit

Peter Roennfeldt

The Book of Acts tells a story that is familiar to us—making disciples amid difficult social, cultural and political environments. But Acts also tells stories that are new to some of us—creative and innovative forms of church and leadership, successfully adapting to these different circumstances and seeing the church growing in dramatic ways.

After almost 2000 years of Christian history, we don’t get to start again, but we are called to write our next chapter in the story of following Jesus and making disciples. Use this book for personal study, with your church leaders or small group, and begin to re-imagine and become the church we can be—today.

"Following the Spirit is practical and simple, yet transformational. At this critical time, it breathes life into our understanding of what it means to “be the church” and is a compelling call to be a disciple-making movement of Jesus Christ. We have been personally inspired, blessed and challenged by Peter’s Spirit-driven and down-to-earth teaching."
